Caviramus was an early pterosaur and flying reptile from the Late Triassic era, 205 million years ago. Its name means hollow branch and it measured about 135 cm.
It had long limbs and may have been both at home on the ground and also in flight. It could be found in what is now Switzerland in a marine environment. It had a tall bony crest and fang-like teeth at the front of the mouth.
Excellent for educational purposes, endangered species awareness, environmental consciousness, plus gaining deeper knowledge of actual animals
